The MOTA Tour is the main itinerary of the project: a cycling loop of approximately 320 km, with a total elevation gain of around 5,000 metres, crossing the Lake Trasimeno area and the Umbrian hilly landscapes.
The route involves several municipalities within the area and unfolds through urban centres, historic villages and valuable rural settings, offering a complete and immersive experience.
It is conceived as a bikepacking itinerary to be enjoyed over several days, with the possibility of being divided into stages and integrated with accommodation facilities, refreshment points and local services along the route.
The MOTA Tour represents the backbone of the entire cycling tourism system, around which shorter loop itineraries intended for daily use are developed.
