Dettaglio tour - Bike in Umbria

Meet at Ciclovery Point at 9.00 am for a briefing with the bike leader.

Departure from Spello at around 9.30/10.00.

We’ll cycle towards Montefalco, following a fantastic network of scenic dirt tracks through the Umbrian countryside, forming part of the ‘Sagrantino Route’. On arrival, we’ll visit the historic centre, surrounded by ancient walls, with its narrow streets, churches, historic palaces, cylindrical towers and viewing points offering unique vistas, which have earned Montefalco the nickname ‘the balcony of Umbria’.

In this area, we will visit a winery for a tasting of its own wines, accompanied by typical Umbrian specialities.

Afterwards, we shall continue to Bevagna, an ancient medieval village, where, upon passing through the gates of its city walls, we can explore the historic centre with its imposing palaces, the remains of Roman temples, Roman baths, churches and monasteries.

We’ll be back at around 4.00 pm.
