A winery in Todi, we have been producing wine since 2005.
It was at the end of the 1980s that Piero Peppucci and Luisa Giontella, in search of a place in the Todi countryside where they could bring up their children Elisabetta and Filippo, and soon after Agnese, in contact with nature, arrived almost by chance at Sant'Antimo. Although completely abandoned, the monastery built by Benedictine monks of the Vallombrosian congregation around the first half of the 13th century still retained all its charm. It is no coincidence that Renzo Pardi, in his book "Ricerche di Architettura Religiosa Medioevale in Umbria", defines it as one of the most fascinating and interesting settlements in the whole of Umbrian medieval architecture. From that moment on, all their efforts were directed towards bringing this marvel back to light, first making it their home and then, with the acquisition of the surrounding land, the centre of a new and greater adventure, to produce their wines here.
They then proceeded to plant new vineyards, selecting native vines par excellence such as Grechetto di Todi, Sagrantino and Sangiovese, and international vines Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.2010 saw the completion of the new cellar, which has made it possible to raise the quality level of the wines produced even higher; a place where one can not only work at one's best but also have the opportunity to welcome wine-lovers and to communicate everything that makes Peppucci wines what they are. A story of love, patience and dedication that has involved the entire family over the years and that is now represented by Filippo Peppucci, who takes care of the entire management from production to marketing.
