On Sunday 28 June 2026, Sellano will host a stage of the ABT Festival, the national initiative dedicated to promoting the sustainable development of the Apennine territories.

From 4.30 pm to 10.00 pm, the Apennine Promotional Area will be open in the Public Gardens, with activities, meetings and initiatives focusing on the local area, inclusive mobility and sustainable tourism.

The programme will also include the promotional ride “Cycle through Umbria with all your senses”, an inclusive experience designed to discover the landscapes, flavours and attractions of Sellano.

Opening of the Apennine Promotional Area.

7.30 pm
Regional Forum on the Sustainable Development of the Apennines.

Moderated by Federica Ghinelli from Vivi Appennino.

Speakers:

  • Attilio Giubbiotti, Mayor of Sellano;
  • Enrico Della Torre, General Manager of Vivi Appennino;
  • Serena Galassi, Vi.Vo. Association;
  • representatives of the Umbria Chamber of Commerce and the Umbria & Bike Consortium, with a focus on accessible tourism.

At the end of the talks, the Ambassadors of the Apennines will be appointed.

Cycle through Umbria with all your senses

An inclusive ride with bicycles, electric vehicles and adapted mobility equipment, organised as part of the ABT Festival in Sellano.

The approximately 13-km route will offer participants the opportunity to discover the Sellano area, Lake Vigi, the hamlet of Montesanto and the Tibetan Bridge. The event will also include activities dedicated to inclusion, accessible mobility and the discovery of traditional Umbrian products.

Participation is free and the ride will be accompanied by an Italian Cycling Federation guide.

Opening of the Umbria Chamber of Commerce stand.

4.30 pm
Meeting at the car park of the Lake Vigi rest area.

5.00 pm
Start of the ride with electric and adapted vehicles along a route designed to be accessible to inclusive mobility equipment.

From 5.00 pm to 6.30 pm
Ride and inclusive activities.

6.30 pm
Return to the Public Gardens and the ABT Festival Village.

Activities include:

  • bicycle trials and a skills course for children;
  • presentation and trial of adapted mobility equipment;
  • sensory workshop.

7.00 pm
Tasting of traditional Umbrian products organised by Bottega dello Speziale, at the stand next to the Umbria Chamber of Commerce stand.

7.30 pm
ABT Forum, with a talk by the Umbria Chamber of Commerce and the Umbria & Bike Consortium on accessible tourism.
