Although the Perugia to Lake Trasimeno route was designed as an important connecting axis between cycle routes crossing different areas of Umbria, it is also well worth riding in its own right.

From the very first kilometres, the route leads cyclists into a surprisingly green side of Perugia, offering an unexpected perspective even to those who already know the city. It then continues through the countryside at the foot of the Trasimeno hills, before reaching the lake, which suddenly appears when the route is already close to its shores.

The itinerary connects with the Lake Trasimeno Cycle Route between San Savino and San Feliciano.
