Let yourself be enchanted by the magic of Assisi on a one-of-a-kind e-bike tour, designed to let you experience the full legacy of St Francis in just 3 hours.

Thanks to our modern pedal-assisted bikes, you’ll tackle the climbs up Mount Subasio with ease.

The route begins with an exploration of the Bosco di San Francesco, a FAI-protected oasis of unspoilt tranquillity, before climbing up to the majestic Basilica of St Francis.

We’ll pass through the medieval heart of the town, admiring the Cathedral of St Rufino and the Basilica of St Clare.

The highlight of the tour will be the climb to the Hermitage of the Carceri, at an altitude of 800 metres – a mystical place suspended between heaven and earth.

After taking in the breathtaking views, we’ll head down towards San Damiano and round off the tour in the valley by visiting the Sanctuary of Rivotorto and the Porziuncola.

A perfect loop combining spirituality, sport and unforgettable Umbrian views!

ITINERARY: 1) Departure (Hotel Bellavista/other hotels): technical briefing and a leisurely start from the town centre or your accommodation.

2) Immersion in nature: descent towards the Wood of St Francis (a FAI-protected site), a place of silence and harmony. 3) The heart of faith: ascent towards the majestic Basilica of St Francis (UNESCO).

4) The historic centre: a ride through the medieval alleyways, passing by the Cathedral of San Rufino and the Basilica of Santa Chiara.

5) The ascent to the heavens: thanks to the electric motor, we’ll climb effortlessly up to the Eremo delle Carceri, nestled in the woods of Mount Subasio at an altitude of 800 metres.

6) Peace and humility: a descent towards the Sanctuary of San Damiano, the site of St Francis’s conversion and the ‘Canticle of the Creatures’.

7) The Franciscan Valley: the tour concludes on the plains with a visit to the Hut of Rivotorto and the majestic Porziuncola within the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli
